Amber is a highly respected Bagpipe instructor who oozes enthusiasm and positivity. Based in the Ballarat area, Amber ensures that every lesson has an element of fun and accomplishment. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced piper, Amber will help you achieve your bagpipe goals.
A Bagpipe graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD), Amber has taught around the world as a Bagpipe instructor. Currently employed by Ballarat Grammar School, Amber has previously worked for South Ayrshire Council, Wellington School Ayr, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The National Piping Centre (all Scotland) as the bagpiping instructor. She has taught in European piping schools in Germany, Italy, the Isle of Mann & Spain. Her diverse teaching experiences has allowed her to create a unique teaching style. Learning the Bagpipes with Amber has no age or skill restrictions – all Amber asks for is a willingness to learn and an open mind – leave the rest to Amber!

Amber has over 10 years experience competing at the highest level in Pipe Bands (Grade 1), and offers tuition for pipe corps. Amber can work with Pipe Majors and Pipe Sergeants in various capacities;
